English Heritage Members’ Handbook
English Heritage look after over 400 historic properties as well as advise the Government and others to help everyone get the most out of our heritage and ensure it’s protection for future generations.
The centrepiece of their marketing activities is without doubt their Members’ Handbook which contains detail on each of the 400 properties including opening times, transport data, prices, as well as a brief outline history of the property and what you can expect to see on your visit.
Ledgard Jepson were first commissioned to produce the handbook in 2006 after winning a European tender, and have successfully produced this key piece of literature to date, a period of 9 years, and a stat we are extremely proud of and testimony to the passion and dedication of the team involved.
Each year we refresh the design and layout and content as well as research new imagery and work closely with the client at every stage including press passing the publication to ensure quality.
At the centre of the production is an online proofing system that as designed and built by our web team to ensure the smooth running of the project. The system holds all the up-to-date and archived PDF proofs, collates the amends from the 9 regions as well as being a repository for images, copy and other vital communications between the client and our team.
