Yorkshire Forward Annual Report
Yorkshire Forward is the regional development agency, charged with improving the Yorkshire & Humber economy.
In 2009, we beat strong opposition to win the tender for the design and production of the prestigious 2009/10 Yorkshire Forward Annual Report and Accounts. The main aim of the report is to detail the financial health and investments of Yorkshire Forward to the public and its stakeholders. It needed to reflect Yorkshire Forward's achievements and performance as well as demonstrating their commitment to delivering value for money.
The report had to be produced to strict government guidelines and timings and it was critical and it has to be laid to Parliament at specific dates in July. It had to be printed on recycled material and have a professional, positive and understated tone of voice and be inspiring and modern and deliver impact.
A further challenge was to reduce the number of pages contained in the report whilst still delivering to the high standards expected from the client. We also recommended an uncoated paper stock, which made the 116 page document much lighter to handle and save on postage costs.
We have also been commissioned to produce the 2010/11 report which is currently in production.
