World Events
As a leading global event and conference organiser with more than 20 years experience, and a turnover in excess of £28 million, WorldEvents manages and creates original events across the world. Their client list includes many major brand names including AOL, Astellas, Chanel, COI, Deloitte, GlaxoSmithKline, Heinz, Johnson & Johnson, L'Oreal, NHS and Philips. In 2009 they managed 340 events in over 40 countries for over 33,000 delegates.
WorldEvents have developed their reputation by delivering great events with impact that help build companies and brands. Their vision is to become one of the leading international live events agencies in the world. To help them achieve this they needed to relaunch their brand to demonstrate that they are a global business offering full service event solutions.
Ledgard Jepson has been a preferred supplier to WorldEvents since 2000 and have worked with them on the creative side including branding and theming several large events. During our working relationship, Ledgard Jepson has seen a shift in not only the size and scope of the clients that WorldEvents deal with, but the range of services they offer which.
This lead to discussions around the suitability of the then company name World Event Management which had reflected the offering of the company for many years, but did not reflect the vision to be a full service live events agency. The new, shortened name, WorldEvents was widely accepted as a better proposition at board level and was adopted for the business going forward to achieve their vision.
We created an identity that encompassed the strategic positioning of the company and its values. The identity was rolled out to the company at their annual conference and it was implemented across all internal and external collateral, website, signage, and even clothing, to promote the brand's values to their staff and clients across a global basis. The final result is a modern, fresh, typographic brand identity that reflects the company's vision for the next stage of growth.
