Ledgard Jepson’s creative team beat off the cream of 90 rostered agencies from across the country to design and create the handbook for this major national organisation, underlining the calibre of our creative work and the regard in which it is held locally, nationally and internationally.
English Heritage acts as a national and international champion for England’s heritage, caring for over 400 historic properties on behalf of the nation, including Stonehenge. It gives grants for the conservation of historic buildings, monuments and landscapes, and encourages public involvement in heritage. It works in partnership with central government, local authorities, voluntary bodies and the private sector to protect and promote England’s spectacular historic environment and ensure that its past is understood.
The handbook is the main piece of literature produced for its English Heritage’s 300,000 members, and is an invaluable source of information. Ledgard Jepson’s designers, artworkers and typographers have created a well-laid-out handbook listing all English heritage properties, with easy-to-read information on membership, events, opening times and all site locations. Our new media team also designed an online intranet resource to support the handbook.
“We were delighted to win this commission from English Heritage. It proves that, time and time again, Ledgard Jepson has the service mix to offer sector leaders,” explains David Exley, Ledgard Jepson’s Managing Director and one of the senior team involved in the pitch. “We’re very proud of the handbook, particularly as it demonstrates our ability to seamlessly design, create and deliver a product from concept through to finished article,” he added.
The National Health Service in Yorkshire and the Humber has become the latest high profile client for Ledgard Jepson.
