The Farmers' markets. Fresh, wholesome, and lip-smackingly good - and that's just the website! We set out the online stall of south Yorkshire Farmers' Markets.

The Company

South Yorkshire’s Farmers’ Markets promote high-quality local goods—some of which are specialist foods and drinks, and many of which reflect the region’s traditional strengths or contemporary innovations. Over 70 farmers’ markets are held across the region, backed by the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and the Humber (RFGYH)—a not-for-profit company whose objective is to develop and grow the region’s food and drink sector.

The Brief

RFGYH ask us to come up with a website which would reflect the South Yorkshire Farmers’ Markets brand, clearly outlining the events and the products on offer. The website also had to increase the awareness of, and attendance at, farmers’ markets across the region. A bespoke content management system was required so that regular updates could be made about the farmers’ markets.

Our Solution

We came up with an eye-catching and user-friendly site which focuses on mouthwatering images of the kinds of foods and drinks on offer. The website clearly displays the actual farmers’ markets within the region, with key information as to dates and times, stall-holder details and products for sale. The easy-to-use content management system lets members keep the site bang-up-to-date.
