The Company

A retail, leisure and entertainment venue in Leeds city centre that combines designer shopping with restaurants, bars, a 4 star Radisson SAS hotel, 13-screen cinema and premier health club.

The Brief

We were asked to fulfil all of the centre’s marketing requirements, with the aim of increasing awareness and footfall. We advised on the overall marketing and communications strategy, developing and executing marketing campaigns to continually strengthen The Light’s brand.

Our Solution

The Light has benefited from the full breadth of our branding, new media and communications services, including PR, media relations and copywriting. We develop and implement two major marketing campaigns per year, including outdoor, broadcast and press advertising, a glossy lifestyle magazine, all internal graphics, all print and signage requirements, management of the centre’s loyalty scheme, and hosting and managing the website.

Results

In the two years since we’ve been working for The Light, footfall has increased year-on-year. 2007 footfall was up 2.5% when compared with 2006, and 2007 press coverage equated to approximately £300,000 in advertising value.
