English Heritage exists to protect and promote England’s spectacular historic environment, ensuring that its past is well understood and cared for. It is the government’s leading advisor on the historic environment and also cares for over 400 historic properties, including Stonehenge, on behalf of the nation.
After taking part in a European wide tender, Ledgard Jepson was awarded a contract to design 3 annual editions of the Members’ Handbook, the main piece of literature listing details of all the properties open to the public, produced for around 600,000 members worldwide.
Drawing on the expertise and skills of our creative team, artworkers and typographers, a comprehensive, attractive and well-laid-out handbook was designed, listing all of the properties with easy-to-read information on membership, events, opening times and site locations. Our new media team also designed an intranet resource to support the handbook production, helping to save time, money and the environment.
The result is an invaluable resource for all English Heritage members. English Heritage is delighted with the finished book and all the efforts of the whole team at Ledgard Jepson.
