Ezz Steel is the leading steel producer in the Middle East, with a growing presence in markets around the world. Their combination of high-quality products and unrivalled customer service has strengthened their reputation as a trusted supplier among customers from the USA and Canada to Europe and China.

The Brief

Ezz Steel’s vision is to sustain their position as the leading steel producer in the Middle East region and to remain a global player in the international steel trade, with a brand name that is synonymous with quality and reliability. Their goal is to continually build their capacity and knowledge base to meet the growing and diverse needs of customers across the globe, and to offer a full line of products, grades and qualities which are perceived as equal to—or better than—those of leading global producers.

Our Solution

We were asked to produce printed collateral which represents the company’s values. We used the findings from our research and findings assessment to produce a visual identity that helps Ezz to reach out globally. The long sweeping lines of the design are inspired by the illustrations of flight paths to be found in in-flight magazines, and communicate Ezz’s global reach. This was rolled out across online and offline communications, and continues to develop the Ezz brand at a global level.

Results

Our annual report design made quite an impression with stakeholders. As the group’s first annual report, it has helped Ezz to reach and attract target investors. According to Ezz, “Ledgard Jepson are to be commended for a job well done! And our catalogue is an excellent piece of design and copywriting that blends creativity with technical information to produce a strong sales tool.
